The Huang laboratory uses integrated chemical approaches to bridge the glycome and proteome to understand and control stem cell fates and glycosylation diseases. A key theme of our lab is the study of glycans in the context of the proteome. We employ techniques in synthetic organic chemistry, analytical mass spectrometry, and protein engineering to illuminate glycan-protein biology.
Summer 2026
Congratulations to Abbey for earning a Schmidt Science Fellowship, the first recipient at Scripps Research!
Welcome to Sincere Williams and Finn O'Reilly, our interns for the summer.
Welcome to our newest graduate rotation students, Lizzy and Josh!
